Slower Days
YAY! We have started our Mulberry Tea sevices. (Give me a call if you want text or email notices of our next dates.) We began with a proper Jane Austen Regency Tea, dressed in day dresses and fresh flowers, scones with clotted cream & fresh rasberry jam/lemon curd. We also treated guests with victoria sponge cake, cucumber sandwiches, basically the works! We had so much fun and topped up the event with a reading from Pride & Prejudice and a tour of the Inn. It was magic. The next tea was our Alice in Wonderland Tea. More Magic and so much fun. We have since had a couple private teas. I love this addition to the Inn.
Our winters here in St. George are delightful. Mild days. The scent of fresh baked sweet breads filling the Inn. The Jubilee of Trees, the Dicken’s Festival, Tuacahn Saturday Market, Washington Farmers Market, St. George Christmas Village… the fun events just go on and on. I never miss the live Nativity at Tuacahn. I bring blankets and hot chocolate (all available at the Inn) and go and watch the animals and silent production under the stars. I love it! And Zion in the off season is THE BEST! You don’t have to take the shuttles and our weather is so mild, I just wear a vest or light jacket to take in the sights. It really is amazing. St. George has been my home for over 20 years now, and am so thankful for it welcoming me in. St. George IS home. Come visit The Mulberry Inn and feel like you are at your home away from home.
